 Comfortable guestrooms have dark-wood furniture, marble floors, and marble vanities, but allow barefoot ease. Each room has two telephones, a data port for Internet access, and a minibar. Most rooms include furnished balconies. All rooms in the 12-story hotel tower offer one king bed or two double beds and accommodate a maximum of four guests. Rooms are available in either the European Plan or the All-Inclusive Plan, depending on room category booked. Lagoon View Room - These rooms provide views of Nichupt? Lagoon. Ocean View Room - These rooms include balconies with two built-in benches, two chairs and a table, and views of the Caribbean. Superior Lagoon View Room - With views identical to Lagoon View rooms, Superior Lagoon View rooms come with the All-Inclusive Plan. Deluxe Ocean View Room - With views identical to Ocean View rooms, Deluxe Ocean View rooms come with the All-Inclusive Plan. Junior Suite - Larger than ordinary rooms, and also with larger bathrooms, the suites include a sitting area, balconies with views of the Caribbean, and bathrobes. Villa - Accommodating a maximum of six guests (ideal for families or groups) and offered in the European Plan, the resort's three-story villas provide home-away-from-home living. Each unit has a fully equipped kitchen; a wrought-iron dining table; and a step-down living room with a couch and overstuffed chairs. On the second floor is a master bedroom with one king bed, a table, two chairs, a dressing area with a twin-sink marble vanity, and a tub/shower combination. Also on the second floor is a second bedroom with two double beds and a stall shower. On the third (top) floor is a third bedroom with a queen bed, a stall shower, and an ocean view. The ground floor has a walkout patio. Each bedroom has a furnished balcony and a television. Rooms are reserved under one of the following plans: European Plan - Rate includes room accommodations only; no meals are included. All-Inclusive Plan - Rate includes the following:

Omni Cancun Hotel & Villas amenities include Da Vinci - Decorated with murals honoring Leonardo Da Vinci, this intimate dinner house serves Italian specialties like osso buco, pasta, steak, seafood, and healthful "spa" cuisine such as garlic quail and pesto trout. La Paloma - Offering both buffet and ? la carte choices at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, La Paloma serves international dishes such as whole fish in garlic-parsley sauce, Mexican favorites, and "spa" choices. Pina Colada - Open for breakfast and lunch, this barefoot-casual, open-air restaurant is located right on the beach under a palapa and specializes in seafood and grilled food. Kuku's Bar - Constructed in rustic, Indiana Jones?style, Kuku's features a big spa along the back side. On the other side, guests sit in swing seats with their feet in the beach's powdery white sand. Kuku's also includes a palapa-shaded, open-air recreation room with televisions tuned to sports, plus ping-pong, foosball, and pool tables. Lobby bar - This handsome destination features a marble bar, a wood ceiling, lounge and stool seating, a big-screen television, and live music or karaoke in the evenings. Pool bar - Equipped with a grill and adjacent to the pool, this spot accommodates sunbathers with light meals and tropical drinks. In addition to restaurant dining, the hotel provides theme buffet dinners every night around the main pool. Room service runs 7 AM to 11 PM.

What to expect: Lots of activities, a cheerful, eager-to-please staff, and a barefoot-in-the-sand attitude mark the Omni Canc?n. An expansive pool complex consists of two levels with sundecks and lawns. On the top level is a large L-shaped pool, which flows down to a larger, lower-level pool. The lower level contains a children's pool and a unique, blossom-shaped spa with ?petals? for couples. Submerged in the pool are tile lounges with raised backs alongside tile tables for holding drinks. Amenity highlights: A 6-foot-wide, 30-foot-long spa borders a beach bar called Kuku's. The spa has stools along the bar and benches in the back for seating a few dozen merrymakers. The marble-lined Omni Spa is a relaxing retreat. It includes a fitness center, steam room, two massage rooms, a body treatment/hydrotherapy room, a facial-treatment room, and a beauty shop offering hair and nail care for men and women. Insider tip: Guests joining one of the hotel's nightly nightclub outings receive complimentary shuttle service, VIP seating, and immediate entry without having to wait in line.
